Move confirmed
Over the weekend I got confirmation that I was picked to be the new renter for the house with the pitched roof, if I was still interested. Which I still am, of course. I will move in by November. Things are getting interesting now. I’m already taking an inventory of what I want to (and can) bring to my new place, which things should be sold and which will land on the street for whoever might still want it until it gets put on a landfill by a state entity.

The next few weeks will be intense, especially since I never before had to manage to cross such a distance with all my belongings. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. My previous moves all pale in comparision. I’ll consider this a challege of my project management skills.
My cats will soon be able to roam freely. I’m happy I can give them more freedom after having restricted them to my (arguably not too small) ever since I got them. Though I should take some time and read up on ways on how to best introduce these critters to life outside of four walls instead of just letting them just explore on their own and end up where they’re not supposed to be.
